BIO
Beth Albright is a USA TODAY best-selling author of eleven novels. She is the author of the award-winning, best-selling, series The Sassy Belles, and the nationally best-selling series In Dixie. Beth is also now writing mystery suspense thrillers.
Beth spent nearly twenty years as a TV and radio talk show host, as well as acting as a principal character on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives.
Beth won the Book Junkie Choice Award for Best Fiction Debut with The Sassy Belles. She was also a double finalist for the prestigious RT Book Award—both for her debut novel, The Sassy Belles, as well as her follow-up novel, Wedding Belles.
Beth's accolades also include: The Southern Independent Booksellers Association Okra Pick and Deep South Magazine's Summer Reading List along with many others. Her work has appeared in magazines, including guest editorials for Southern Lady Magazine.
Beth has appeared on numerous television talk shows over her 25- year career as a novelist, actor and speaker as well as appearing in numerous newspaper articles, commercials and on stage.
She has also been a prolific voice-over talent, her work heard in numerous commercials. She has been a guest on talk shows both TV and radio, all over the country
She is a screenwriter, a voice-over talent for commercials, a SAG-AFTRA union actor, and a nationally known speaker and emcee. Hosting two podcasts, THE BEST BOOK SHOW EVER! And the nationally popular, HOW ARE WE STILL MARRIED?! with her husband Ted Ishler. Beth can be heard each month all over the country.
Beth’s novel, Sleigh Belles, and the In Dixie series have both been optioned for television.
She graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Journalism, winning awards for radio documentaries, news stories and short stories while in college.
Beth also owns her own Children’s theater in Cedarburg Wisconsin, The Cedarburg Children’s Theater where she still spends some of her time, writing and directing the productions.
Her all-time favorite job is being mother to her favorite person on earth: her son Brooks, who is a PhD student in Southern California. She is married to her college sweetheart, Ted Ishler, a TV marketing and branding executive. They live in Southern California.
